Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, IT, etc.).
- Prior experience in a data entry role or similar is a plus, but not required.
Required Skills :
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Fast and accurate typing skills; knowledge of touch typing is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with office equipment, like printers and scanners.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Input data into the company's database from various sources.
- Ensure accuracy of the data by comparing it to source documents.
- Update existing data on a regular basis.
- Retrieve data as requested.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
- Scan and print files, as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on potential improvements.
- Adhere to data integrity and security policies.
- Review discrepancies in data and correct mistakes.
